Adventure Travel Rising Frequently in India

In a recent survey, it has even been unveiled that the ratio of adventure travel is rising immensely in India.  In fact, tourists from all around the world are now coming to visit India to become a part of various adventure activities like paragliding, zorbing, etc.

Gaining popularity day by day

According to Abhishek Daga, the co-founder of Thrillophilia, a leading adventure travel organizer of India, in the last ten years adventure travel has been one of the fastest growing travel sections all around the world. He further added that in the year 2009 adventure travel even accounted for 20% of global tourism.

Statistics even claim that today adventure travel is worth $142 billion worldwide. And among these, India accounts for nearly $2 billion.

Now even a part of the holiday packages

In fact, nowadays most of the well-known resorts in India have even started to offer various adventure activities along with their holiday packages. For instance, if you are planning to stay in any resort of Manali, the holiday packages will automatically feature several adventure activities like zorbing, paragliding, etc.

Moreover, nowadays tourists are even coming to India to visit some of the offbeat destinations like Ladakh.  In an exclusive interview, Stanzin Tsering, the owner of a guesthouse in Ladakh has stated that in the last two years there have been an increasing number of visitors in this region. According to him, people have become bored with all those common holiday experiences and are now looking for something more exhilarating like adventure travel.
